Xia Zhengqi a.k.a. Daqi, was born in Anshan, China. At age 6 he joined the Shenyang Acrobatic Troupe. Daqi won the gold medal at the fourth National Acrobatic Competition in China, toured U.S. and Mexico with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey and was 2001/2005 gold medalist at the Festival Cirque de Demain. From 2006-2010 Daqi performed in Cirque Du Soleil’s Dralion.
